Sameer Minhas and Hunain Shah feature in PSL 11 Emerging Team

The Pakistan Cricket Board has unveiled the PSL 11 Emerging Team of the Tournament, with Sameer Minhas and Hunain Shah among the standout young performers recognised for their impact across the season.

The PSL 11 Emerging Team reflects a wide spread of talent across franchises, with players delivering significant contributions in both batting and bowling departments.

Sameer Minhas leads batting performers

Islamabad United’s Sameer Minhas emerged as one of the most productive batters in the tournament, scoring 349 runs at an impressive strike rate of 155.80. His consistency and scoring rate set him apart in a competitive field of young players.

He is joined in the batting group by Quetta Gladiators’ Shamyl Hussain and Hyderabad Kingsmen’s Maaz Sadaqat, both of whom earned selection after notable performances.

Karachi Kings wicketkeeper-batter Mirza Saad Baig strengthens the top order, adding balance behind the stumps and with the bat.

All-round depth and fielding impact

Peshawar Zalmi’s Farhan Yousuf was recognised following a breakthrough season that also highlighted his exceptional fielding. He had previously led Pakistan at the ICC U19 World Cup 2026, further underlining his credentials as a rising prospect.

Saad Masood of RawalPindiz earned his place through his all-round contributions in the middle order, adding versatility to the lineup.

Bowling unit features standout performers

The bowling attack is led by Hyderabad Kingsmen’s Hunain Shah, who also featured in the main Team of the Tournament, marking him out as one of the few players to impact across both selections.

Peshawar Zalmi’s Ali Raza was included after claiming the only hat-trick of PSL 11, a defining moment that secured his place among the emerging talents.

Multan Sultans’ Mohammad Ismail, Lahore Qalandars’ Ubaid Shah and Multan Sultans’ Momin Qamar complete a well-rounded attack, combining pace and spin options. Ali Raza and Momin Qamar, in particular, add variety and control within the bowling unit.
