
Sialkot Crush Lahore Blues in National T20 Cup Match 11
The National T20 Cup match saw Sialkot register a commanding victory over Lahore Blues, securing a 110-run win in the 11th match of the National T20 Cup 2026 at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar on Thursday.
Opting to field first, Lahore Blues captain Saad Nasim’s decision backfired as the seven-time champions Sialkot posted a formidable total of 210/4 in their allotted 20 overs.
Abdullah Shafique led the scoring for Sialkot with an impressive 57 off 31 deliveries. His innings featured six fours and three sixes.
Shafique also built an important 80-run partnership for the third wicket alongside Hasan Nawaz, who contributed 41 runs from 28 balls, including three fours and two sixes.
After the pair departed in quick succession, the middle-order duo of Ahsan Hafeez Bhatti and Mohsin Riaz ensured a dominant finish to the innings.
The pair stitched together an unbeaten 76-run partnership. Bhatti was the main aggressor, smashing 47 not out from just 17 deliveries, hitting five fours and three sixes. Mohsin Riaz supported him with a steady 30 off 26 balls.
For Lahore Blues, Mohammad Rizwan and Hunain Shah picked up two wickets each.
Usama Mir’s six-wicket haul dismantles Lahore Blues
Chasing a challenging target of 211, Lahore Blues struggled from the outset and were eventually bowled out for 100 in 14.2 overs.
Hamza Zahoor was the top scorer for Lahore Blues with 37 off 23 deliveries, while opener Umar Siddiq added 31 runs from 31 balls.
Apart from them, no other Lahore Blues batter managed to reach double figures against a disciplined Sialkot bowling attack.
Pakistan international Usama Mir produced a sensational bowling performance, claiming six wickets for just eight runs in 3.2 overs. His outstanding spell earned him the Player of the Match award.
Mir received support from fellow Pakistan international Sufiyan Muqeem, who took two wickets, while Mohammad Ali and Ahsan Hafeez Bhatti claimed one wicket each.
The comprehensive victory marked Sialkot’s first win in their second match of the tournament. The result lifted them to second place in Group B of the National T20 Cup standings with two points.
Karachi Blues and Multan also have two points each but slipped down the table following Sialkot’s dominant performance.
