PSL 11 Broadcast Enhancements Announced for New Season
The PSL 11 broadcast enhancements have been officially confirmed, with the HBL Pakistan Super League set to deliver an upgraded viewing experience for fans in Pakistan and worldwide.
HBL PSL 11 will run from March 26 to May 3 across Lahore and Karachi, with organisers introducing multiple production upgrades to improve the view-from-home experience.
Dedicated Urdu coverage introduced
For the first time in the league’s history, an exclusive Urdu broadcast will be introduced.
Alongside an Urdu commentary panel, the feed will include dedicated cameras, studio shows, highlights and features. The tournament will also feature a first-ever pre-match and post-match Urdu studio show aimed at engaging a wider audience.
Advanced DRS and Hawk-Eye features
Hawk-Eye technology will return with full Decision Review System (DRS) enhancements.
Off-bat visualisation will display data such as six distance and ball apex height on screen. In addition, biomechanics tracking will capture player movements, including limbs and bat motion at the crease, offering a more detailed and scientific breakdown of key moments.
Player tracking and 3D graphics
Player tracking technology, first introduced in the previous edition, will return with further upgrades.
New features include real-time field plots and 3D stadium animations during live broadcasts, providing viewers with deeper insight into on-field action.
Enhanced graphics and analytics
The coverage will also include augmented reality and virtual reality elements, aligned with modern sports broadcast standards.
HBL PSL 11 will feature newly designed on-air graphics reflecting the #NewEra theme, while enhanced data analytics will deliver more detailed statistics and insights on teams and players.
