Pindiz Logo Unveiled Ahead of PSL 11 with Graffiti Launch in Rawalpindi
The Pindiz logo has officially been unveiled ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, marking a major milestone for the new franchise in Rawalpindi.
The launch event took place at the Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex and featured a unique graffiti-style art reveal, signalling a new era for cricket in the garrison city.
The unveiling comes as preparations continue for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League, scheduled to run from 26 March to 3 May.
The tournament will begin with defending champions Lahore Qalandars facing debutants Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium.
A bold identity for The Pindiz
The newly revealed Pindiz logo reflects the franchise’s energetic and aggressive identity. At the centre of the design is a dynamic “P” monogram, symbolising speed, intensity, and explosive energy that represent both the team and Rawalpindi.
A vibrant orange centrepiece highlights passion and competitive spirit, while a neon green outline adds a modern and edgy visual style.
The sharp, angular wordmark across the crest reinforces the franchise’s confident and bold character.
The brand identity is built around four key pillars: adaptive, kinetic, bold, and directional. According to the franchise, these elements represent a team that moves with energy, evolves with the game, and leads from the front, mirroring the spirit of Rawalpindi.
Graffiti launch and bike rally celebrate Rawalpindi
The unveiling ceremony brought together fans, media representatives, and members of the cricket community to celebrate Rawalpindi’s culture and sporting heritage.
Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah added the final stroke to the graffiti artwork, creating a dramatic moment before the full crest was revealed.
The celebrations continued with a bike rally along Murree Road, featuring more than 100 bikers accompanied by a convoy of cars decorated in The Pindiz colours.
The rally travelled through one of Rawalpindi’s busiest roads and attracted enthusiastic reactions from the public before finishing at two well-known local food spots: Mamu Burger and Pappu Soda.
Franchise vision shared by owner
Speaking at the launch event, The Pindiz owner Mr. Ahsan Tahir explained the inspiration behind unveiling the franchise identity through an art-led reveal and bike rally.
He highlighted Rawalpindi’s strong connection with cricket and the franchise’s ambition to develop into a global sports brand.
“Rawalpindi has always had a special relationship with cricket, and the passion of this city is unmatched. With this art-led logo reveal and bikers rally, we wanted to unveil The Pindiz in a way that truly reflects the bold spirit of Rawalpindi. Our vision is to build Team Pindiz into more than a cricket franchise,” Tahir said.
“We want it to become a premium global sports brand with a world-class franchising ecosystem that engages fans throughout the year. From strong fan and consumer touchpoints to a growing global fan base and deeper connections with the Pakistani diaspora, our goal is to create lasting value through experiences, community, retail products, services, and more,” he added.
The franchise has defined its identity around three guiding principles: ambition with intent, energy that never stands still, and boldness as the default mindset.
The unveiling marks the first major step for The Pindiz as they prepare to represent Rawalpindi on a larger stage.
Earlier this month, the franchise was acquired by Walee Technologies for PKR 2.45 billion during the historic auction held at the Expo Centre in Lahore.
