National T20 Cup 2026: Karachi Blues Beat Sialkot by 40 Runs in Match 4

Karachi Region Blues secured a commanding 40-run victory over Sialkot Region in Match 4 of the National T20 Cup 2026 at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar on Sunday.

The National T20 Cup 2026 clash saw Karachi Blues post a formidable total before their bowlers restricted Sialkot to seal a convincing win.

Karachi Blues pile up 201

Batting first, Karachi Region Blues were bowled out for 201 in 19.2 overs, powered by outstanding knocks from Usman Khan and Ahsan Ali.

Karachi got off to a steady start with openers Ahsan Ali and Jahanzaib Sultan putting runs on the board. However, the opening stand ended when Jahanzaib Sultan was dismissed for 12 off 13 deliveries, including one four, with Abdul Subhan taking the wicket.

Mirza Saad Baig followed soon after, scoring 14 National T20 Cup 2026: Karachi Blues Beat Sialkot by 40 Runs in Match nine balls, hitting two fours and a six before Sufiyan Muqeem removed him. Karachi were 56-2 in 5.4 overs at that stage.

Ahsan Ali continued to dominate the innings and brought up a well-earned half-century. His knock eventually ended when Usama Mir dismissed him for 50 off 27 deliveries, which included five fours and three sixes.

Usman Khan and Mohammad Taha then combined to push Karachi past the 100-run mark. Taha, however, fell for one off three balls, dismissed by Abdul Subhan, leaving Karachi at 103-4 in 11.5 overs.

Karachi then suffered a brief collapse. Rameez Aziz Panjara managed only two runs, while Wahaj Riaz was dismissed for a duck, with Muhammad Ali and Hamza Nazar claiming the wickets.

Usman Khan powers Karachi to big total

Despite wickets falling at the other end, Usman Khan maintained an aggressive approach. He completed his half-century and continued attacking the bowlers.

Jahandad Khan supported him with a quick cameo before the partnership was broken. Usman was eventually dismissed by Abdul Subhan after a superb innings of 81 off 39 deliveries, which included nine fours and four sixes.

Subhan struck again on the next delivery as Mehran Mumtaz was dismissed for a first-ball duck, leaving Karachi at 194-8 in 18.5 overs.

Jahandad Khan later departed after scoring 30 off 16 balls, hitting two fours and two sixes.

Abdul Subhan claimed his fourth wicket, while Muhammad Ali ended the innings by dismissing Shahnawaz Dahani for seven off three deliveries.

Subhan was the standout bowler for Sialkot with 4/41 in four overs. Muhammad Ali picked up two wickets, while Usama Mir and Sufiyan Muqeem took one wicket each.

Karachi bowlers seal victory

Chasing a challenging target of 202, Sialkot Region were bowled out for 161 in 19.4 overs thanks to a disciplined bowling display from Karachi.

Usama Mir led Sialkot’s resistance with 63 off 32 balls, hitting six fours and four sixes, before he was dismissed by Khalil Ahmed.

Abdullah Shafique scored 28 off 14 deliveries, including one four and two sixes, before Mehran Mumtaz removed him.

Hamza Nazar added 10 runs, while Khawaja Arham and Ali Afzal contributed 15 runs each.

For Karachi Blues, Khalil Ahmed was the standout bowler with impressive figures of 4/27 in four overs.

Muhammad Taha picked up three wickets, while Shahnawaz Dahani claimed two wickets and Mehran Mumtaz also took one.

The result gave Karachi Region Blues a strong start to their National T20 Cup 2026 campaign with a convincing 40-run win over Sialkot Region.
