ICC T20I Rankings Update: Fakhar Zaman and Salman Mirza Climb

Latest ICC T20I rankings featuring Pakistan players movements

Pakistan players experienced mixed movements in the latest ICC T20I rankings update, with several players gaining positions while others slipped in the standings.

In the T20I batters’ rankings, Sahibzada Farhan dropped one place and now sits third. India’s Ishan Kishan moved up two spots to claim second place, while his teammate Abhishek Sharma continues to lead the rankings.

Among Pakistan batters, Saim Ayub slipped one position to 36th, while Babar Azam retained his 37th spot. Pakistan’s T20I captain Salman Ali Agha improved slightly, moving up one place to 40th with 547 rating points. Opening batter Fakhar Zaman also gained one position and is now ranked 70th.

Bowling rankings see Rashid Khan take top spot

The ICC T20I bowling rankings saw a change at the top as Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan replaced India’s Varun Chakaravarthy to become the number one ranked bowler.

Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed held onto his third position in the rankings. Mohammad Nawaz remained steady at 12th place, while Salman Mirza recorded a notable improvement by climbing two places to 19th.

Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi remained in 35th position.

Other Pakistan bowlers largely maintained their standings. Usman Tariq stayed at 55th while Sufiyan Muqeem remained at 60th.

In addition, Saim Ayub is ranked 67th in the bowling list, followed by Shadab Khan in 72nd and Haris Rauf in 84th.

All-rounder rankings unchanged

There were no significant changes in the ICC T20I all-rounders’ rankings.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza continues to lead the list, with India’s Hardik Pandya occupying second place. Pakistan’s Saim Ayub holds the third position.

Mohammad Nawaz remains eighth in the rankings, while Shadab Khan stayed at 22nd.

Faheem Ashraf and Salman Ali Agha retained their 55th and 56th positions respectively, while Shaheen Afridi continues to sit at 65th in the all-rounder rankings.
