Ali Tareen Reacts After Multan Sultans Confirmed for PSL 11

Ali Tareen has spoken out after the official confirmation that Multan Sultans will return to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for its 11th edition.

The development follows CD Ventures acquiring a majority stake in the franchise, paving the way for Multan’s comeback after uncertainty surrounding ownership.

Speaking at a joint press conference alongside franchise CEO Gohar Shah, Tareen confirmed his appointment as CEO and expressed his commitment to restoring South Punjab’s representation in the league.

“After seven years with Multan Sultans, I left with no regrets. That chapter of my life gave me some of my proudest moments,” Tareen said.

He admitted the only moment that truly hurt was when Multan was removed from the league, describing the franchise as more than just a cricket team.

“Multan has always represented South Punjab — talented people who deserve every platform they can get,” he added.

The PSL 11 season is scheduled to take place from 26 March to 3 May.Multan Sultans’ return marks a significant moment for the region and its passionate fanbase.
